The Loch Lomond Initiative brings together clans connected to Loch Lomond and beyond through shared history, heritage, and tradition.

The Initiative grew from a challenge faced by many clan societies — how to keep Scottish heritage alive and relevant for younger generations and families today.

Rather than working in isolation, participating clans come together through gatherings, events, and activities in Scotland and abroad. By supporting one another, clans are able to create larger events, strengthen connections between members, and introduce more people to Scotland’s history, culture, and traditions.

At its heart, the Initiative is about bringing clans together through shared heritage and historic connections, whilst helping ensure that the traditions and spirit of Scotland continue to be passed on to future generations.
